EARTHRISE PHOTO: Apollo 8 Space Art Poster

This famous shot of the Earth rising above the surface of the moon was taken by astronaught William Anders on an Apollo 8 mission, on Christmas Eve 1968. Apollo 8 was the first crewed voyage to orbit the moon, and the picture has been described as the most influential environmental photograph ever taken.
